Together with Andrew Paterson, Natalia Kulka, Lotta Kauppi and Simo Haanpää we’ve created a game based on the popular tile game Carcassonne. The rules are the same but in our version the cities were replaced with allotment gardens and the fields with suburbs. Different designs were produced and all of them were release under a CC license and available for download here. A sample of my take on the game is presented below.

I’ve taken part in translating the book “Kleine Geschichte Tibets” (A Brief History of Tibet) by Karenina Kollmar-Paulenz from German to Polish. The result is available on the polish market under the title “Tybet. Zarys historii” published by Dialog. I was also involved in designing the new cover which I had to abandon due to the low visual profile of the publisher.

Every day somewhere in the city there are concerts, screenings, theatre plays, lectures, workshops, meetings and other events that don’t require tickets or fees. People meet and do things together without the involvement of money. WarszawaGratis.info is an on-line calendar with detailed information about a large variety of free events within the bounds of Warsaw. It allows and encourages input from volunteers through a simple form available on the website and also features a map with all the places where free events take place regularly.

Self-made lettering, improvised signs, coincidental designs and random messages; sweet shapes and big words lost in the void of time; also eroded forms, outdated design trends and letters that have seen a better day. Or simply a collection of strange, worn-down, outdated, intriguing, self-made, out-of-place and interesting letters, words and messages from all over the world. A blog dedicated to typography on the road.
