W grudniu poprowadziłem wraz z Zosią Strumiłło drugą edycję warsztatów Drukujemy Zin! na Wydziale Wzornictwa warszawskiej ASP. Publikacja, która jest wynikiem prawie trzech tygodni pracy studentów nosi nazwę „BUDYń”. Można ją kupić w księgarni Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej przy ul. Pańskiej 3 oraz w dziekanacie Wydziału Wzornictwa przy ul. Myśliwieckiej 8. Cena zinu jest otwarta – płacący sam decyduje ile zapłaci.

In December together with Zofia Strumiłło I conducted the second edition of the We Print Zines! workshops at the Industrial Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. The resulting publication is called ”BUDYń” (Polish for ’pudding’) and is available for sale at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The price of the zine is open – you decide what you pay.

W dniach 11 i 16 grudnia poprowadziłem warsztaty drukarskie w Muzeum Etnograficznym w Warszawie. W użyciu była kompaktowa prasa drukarska Adana HS2, kilka krojów metalowych czcionek oraz przygotowane na tą okazję małe linoryty. Jeden z uczestników opublikował dokumentację fotograficzną warsztatów.

On December 11th and 16th I conducted letterpress workshops in the Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw. We used a compact letterpress (Adana HS2), a few metal typefaces and small linocuts prepared for this occasion. One of the participants published a photographic documentation of the workshops.

In the summer of 2008 I spent 4 days in a monastery in the Dobrugea region of Romania. I took part in an annual celebration of believers of the Old Rite and documented the rituals. ’We Print Zines!’ is a workshop where each participant designs one page of a collective zine. In August 2007 I’ve held a presentation of the project LocatingHelsinki within the Helsinki Summer School - a three-week academic event organised every August by the nine universities in the Helsinki area. The collaboration resulted in 18 new posts in the Place Blog created by students of the Planning a Growing Urban Region course.
