’We Print Zines!’ is a workshop where each participant designs one page of a collective zine. Subsequently all copies are being reproduced using traditional graphic techniques such as letterpress, linocuts, etc… The process and results of the workshop have been documented online (website in Polish): drukujemyzin.blogspot.com

„Drukujemy Zin!” to warsztaty, podczas których każdy z uczestników projektuje jedną stronę wspólnego zinu – rodzaju amatorskiego czasopisma. Title: Arkadia promo bags

Client: ARKADIA Oy International Bookshop

Assignment that followed the webdesign for the international bookshop. Image of a vintage bicycle with books on the carrier applied by silkscreen on textile bags. Both the client and I don’t like nor use cars but prefer two wheels instead so the image of a bike seemed perfect for the job. Click below to see photos of the bags.

Title: Tuntematon Sotilas

Client: The Finnish National Theatre

Brochure accompanying the theatre play ’Unknown Soldier’ based on the historical book by Väinö Linna. On the cover there is a list of actors’ names presented in a way associated with military organisation. Above the list is a symbolic instruction of how to tear open holes in the brochure in order to be able to “hide” from the “war” taking place on the stage. Concept of the brochure developed together with director Kristian Smeds, Ville Hyvönen and Aina Bergroth. Photos used in the brochure are by Antti Ahonen.

Title: Nordic VJ Meeting

Graphic design for the 2007 edition of the festival which included the following items: flyer, poster, 70 page publication, print ad, t-shirt and promo bag. The web design I also did is most probably not going to be implemented.

Title: Chechu Zeta

The idea in this actor´s dossier is to have on each page a posed and stylised photo combined with one or two natural ones. This way I was hoping to create a more true image of Chechu´s personality and help him to present himself in a proffessional context.

I designed materials that the young theatre company needed to promote themselves and their new play. Following items were produced:

Title: Dot Org Boom!

Although the festival was held in Helsinki I have worked as an art director remotely from Warsaw, Poland. The tasks involved were creating the overall look of the festival for the year 2006 and then, basing on that, creating the following items, which were then produced and developed by a local graphic designer:
- A1 poster, offset
- flyer, digital
- design for large stickers and bags
- website graphics adjusted to the 2006 look
- cover and layout template for the festival publication

Title: Hybridus

A set of circus posters designed for an ultra-low budget. The format is A4 and the posters were to be reproduced by photocopy machine. Each of the posters represents one of the characters of the play and they were to be hung in sets of 6 or more.
